For some strange reason i like the standard GT2..... sometimes tuners can go too far with body modifications.... dont mind undercover power upgrades like ECU`s etc....... but thats just the way i like my cars.....

Long way to go before i ever have a porsche but im in no rush

It's all very well paying a fortune for a car, but you've got to run it afterwards as well! A GT2 is plenty fast enough for me, and exclusive, but to be honest I'd still like a few modifications just to make it "mine". Anyone driven the standard Porsche track version? I know they do one with carbon racing seats and suspension set up for track use etc., roll cage modifications and things. If I was going down the GT2 route I'd go for that - if you're going the whole hog, go the whole hog! I'd still want something that made it individual.

Rock on

GT2 with clubsport is the model you are talking about.
As for sportec, well remember the GT2 also has to be able to drive on normal roads too, maybe sportec just wanted a out `n` out track car!

You right though, a 996 Turbo, with aero pack and power upgrade, brake upgrade etc will be better off and cheaper too...... but like they say a GT2 is still a GT2!
