Stourbridge Autos

Post by miatang » Thu Sep 22, 2022 11:46 am

Hi All,

Anyone ever used Stourbridge Autos? The logistics of going to MRC is a bit of a pain so I did some googling and Stourbridge Autos came up. Their website says they can update audi service history log like MRC.

In the West Midlands?
What work did you want doing?
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

I've not used used them or even heard of them, I don't live that far from them either.
Me personally, I'd drive up to Unit20 or go to MRC. Over the 20 years of owning Audis, I've used Halesowen Audi, Wolverhampton Audi, Stafford Audi, a VAG "specialist" in Blackheath, MRC and Unit 20, I'd really only go to Unit20 for servicing/repair work, and MRC for tuning.

I brought the car from Halesowen and did take it back to them for a while before going to another dealer. My first thought was MRC but the logistics of taking a day off to get a service is a bit of an issue.

Thanks for your input though

I use MRC & the service you get there is second to none. I wouldn’t use anyone else on my last service they even picked up on inspection 3%water in brake fluid, a strap missing from my filler cap and a strainer missing from brake fluid reservoir.

Its looking most likely to go to MRC. I just wanted to see if there was an option closer to home.

They're pretty solid when it comes to updating service logs, especially for Audi. Saves you the hassle of trekking to MRC.
