Non Audi storm damage SOS

The runaround is a 2012 525d and very nice it is as well. Parked it up on the drive Thursday no issues.
3 back to back storms later and go to start her up today-lights up like a Xmas tree! Fault after fault after fault. You name it it’s on there.
Drive to the local garage so they can hook it up. Car is basically in ‘limp home’ mode, sounds terrible, steering heavy and zero Speedo. HUD just shows dotted lines and the rear camera permanently on.
Anyhow they hook it up and 42 (!) faults are showing on the diagnostic machine. Never seen that before they say.
The only thing they can think of is that during one of the storms water has got into the ECU and fried it.
Any ideas? Plus how expensive is this going to be? I’ve spent thousands getting it to a good place and it’s going to really pi55 me off if it’s a dead duck.

Just to finish off this thread-car is fixed.
Had to get it low loaded to a specialist who then couldn’t get it into drive or park so had to do all the work outside the workshops (luckily weather was good). Fault finding times 1000 and couldn’t find the fault.
4 frustrating hours later they noticed a fuse for the nearside door handle (comfort access) kept blowing. Removed the fuse and hey presto-car came back to life with zero faults. They said they’d never seen a fault like it and essentially one door fuse had crippled the car.
Weird.
Anyway yet again shows that if anything will go wrong with a BMW it will probably be electrical!
