Squealing Brakes - RS Models

Post by RSphwoarrr » Thu Nov 25, 2021 3:44 pm

Brakes wont stop squealing on my RS4 B9.5. 1600miles in and been squealing since day one. Taken to dealer twice, had them deglaze under warranty but the squealing remains - they now say nothing can be done + apparently its a common issue on all RS models. Any other RS owners had this issue?

Have you tried the old accelerate+ brake method?
Accelerate up to a decent speed
Brake
Do not let the car fully stop, as it slows right down -foot off the brake
Accelerate away.

hard braking provides a temporary cure sometimes...but generally when breaking at a decent speed the squealing isn't as noticeable/doesn't happen. It's in town, at slow speeds where its unbearable.
