I'm looking at a '18 B9 RS4 from Sytner Select. It's got 30k miles on it, is now outside of its Audi factory warranty.
Sytner Select do a 6 month standard warranty, extendable to 3 years.
However this warranty has an individual claim limit of £4k, and has quite a long list of things it doesn't cover. If anything major goes wrong in the engine or gearbox department, £4k of cover won't go too far.
Has anyone owned a car on a warranty like this? Is that warranty as thin a safety net as it sounds?

Re: Sytner select warranty
I would avoid buying from sytner select. The reason it’s being sold by sytner is it don’t qualify for audi approved used program. There could be number of reasons. Could have been modified before, missed service schedule etc. Also like you said £4k won’t go far. If DRC goes you’ll be looking in excess of £10k.
Re: Sytner select warranty
I think it’s because of a ghost immobiliser, and or a trip to MRC. On the service record that visit was just for filters and oil but I’m digging for more info.
