Turn offkeyless entry?

Just got my RS6 today. The keyless entry is a pain in the......
Happy with start with key in the car somewhere, but unlocking when key is near the car is painful. You can never be sure the car is locked. Or it unlocks as you walk away etc. Just want to turn it off for a simple life
Car spec sheet says it has PG3 Advanced Key, 4F2 Advanced Key w/out hands free
Any help appreciated.

My C6 only unlocks if you lift a handle with the key in your pocket and stood next to the door. Anywhere else it won't work. Even if you walk near the car it won't unlock unless you lift a handle.
Unless it's different on newer models or mine is configured differently??

But how can you check it’s locked without pulling handle?

So, you get out, press the little button under the handle to lock it and you have about 3 seconds to lift the door handle to check it's locked.

You can disable it in the MMI. I don't have my car anymore so can't look through the menu though. It should be in the manual though and it has been discussed in here a few times.
