Pretty sure Audi dread these coming out now-this is at least the 2nd one I’ve seen where the C8 gets it’s ar5e handed to it again and again.
Just goes to show how strong the competition is now. Best bring out the Performance version quick Audi!

How could Audi possibly think that level of performance is acceptable on the back of the rocket ships it gave us in the C5, C6 and C7. Oh but supposedly in real life it drives well and is more than fast enough......
Typical Audi masters at f****** things up on the next model series.
That 4ltr just managed to keep its head above water in the C7, it’s now been found wanting when up against the atom bomb in the E63 and company.
It will need its own orbit to be in the running when the PE is released. But we all know it’s already over for the 6.
Long live the king.

This video made me a bit sad. Still a great car, but it shouldn't be embarassed like that.
A 2400Kg Porsche ? That is one porky Porker! Much heavier and it won't be allowed over small bridges!
I really like the design but I would be curious to see if it feels as heavy as it is.

It doesn't quite add up for me.
The BMW is blistering quick, yet it weighs about the same as the RS6, has only 25hp more but 50NM less, and uses the same gearbox. Both probably have similar driveline losses (I assume he was racing in AWD mode).
So what is the big difference? The tyres? Possibly, I know in the past Audi use terrible tyres and BMW use Michelin.
Aerodynamics?
Maybe it's both aerodynamics and tyres. There seemed to be a big difference even at low speed so assuming its not aerodynamics and the rolling start didn't fare much better so probably not tyres.
Perhaps Launch Control software or Driver? If it was either of these I'd expect the RS6 would have done better on the rolling starts but it didn't so can rule these out.
Therefore my summary is that the BMW is pushing out perhaps a lot more power than BMW have quoted. Has anyone dyno'd one of these yet? They seem to destroy most cars it comes up against in the carwow drags.

I feel quite sad. I dont have a c8...a mere c6...but its disappointing to see Audi doing soo poor. Every fricking test = failed.

To me the Audi still looks so much better than the others. It does get beaten hands down BUT regardless of how it compares to it's rivals in these tests, does anyone really want to go much faster than a 600+bhp estate will take you.
I feel my measly RS4 is plenty fast enough for any UK road.

Fundamental fact it that it’s criminal how detuned RS Audi’s are! When a simple data upload, zero physical modifications, can see 20% more hp and torque... it’s ridiculous how far within themselves the engines are stock!

I’ve seen a few BMW’s now & in the ones I’ve seen they have smashed it in every single test............me things these cars have been supplied by BMW, specially for the job
