Hola Peeps
Anyone know the current lead times between submission of documentation for a V5 and receiving it in the post?
Are we still at 4-6 weeks, or are people getting their V5s back quicker?

As long as you do it online, then it should be back within the week.
Another change of car?

Nope, sadly this is STILL the Brabus - taken 2 months so far and still haven't got it. Was sent back to Brabus from Forstners, for software upgrades which took a few weeks. Then had to wait for paperwork from Brabus for NOVA, which was approved quite quickly. Finally V55/4 form sent off (in post), proof of id, etc etc, Wednesday to DVLA
It's sat in the dealership waiting for a number plate to be assigned, then I can go get it!! Have moved up to top loyalty Tier with AVIS in the meantime...

Online it takes 3-5 days, by post upto 6 weeks due to a back log apparently but they are taking longer. I've been waiting 7 weeks for a logbook on one of mine

Wow, that’s some patience. This means you’ll have to keep it longer than how long it takes to get the docs sorted
By post to DVLA is a bit of a lottery

I'd have bought a C8 if I'd known it was going to take this long tbh - At this rate it will be Christmas before I get behind the wheel if DVLA take the same time as Brabus have!!
