Has the DVLA just shut it’s doors and all staff are at home on full pay laying in the sun drinking beer . Trying to put personal plate on new car No joy. No bugger answers the phone or even worse you join that virtual chat <beep> with a friggin robot which just keeps referring you back to FAQ’s. I’ve had a red reminder that my old cars tax has expired and they took another months payment, my fault for not cancelling DD. No chance of getting that back at the moment.
Can it honestly be that hard to have staff working from home on laptops ffs this is the 21st century

Kin Hell ! Your lucky... Ive been waiting for my HGV license renewal back since Mar 23rd !!! the day lockdown started. I lost my job because of 'No License' would you believe. Ive been ringing every working day since Mar 23rd and have got through approx 7 times in total.
