RIP Niki Lauda

Post by Covkiller » Tue May 21, 2019 1:42 pm

A true sports man made of steel. He came back from near death to win the world championship in 1977. I watched the race on the tele when he crashed at the Nurburgring in 1976. He still holds and it will never be beaten for the worlds fastest Nurburgring lap at 6:58,2mins in the 1974 F1 Grand Prix. It will never be beaten as the track is now shortened making his record even more staggering.

He was a true champion and deserves the legendary status he has.
