Morning all, I do love my RS4 even though I’ve only done 2000 miles in it since May 2018, but can’t seem to stop
eyeing up the C63 estate.
Has anyone gone from one to the other, and if so could you give a good comparison in terms of living with, interior, and how it makes you feel to drive....when used all year round?
I use the RS sparingly as you can see, and always smile when giving it the beans, so it’s as much about that part as anything else.
Any comparison, good or bad, would be of interest.
B8 RS4 to C63 (4.0) Estate?
Re: B8 RS4 to C63 (4.0) Estate?
I went from an RS4 B7 saloon to a C63 Saloon back to a RS4 B7 saloon.
C63; I removed the front cats and had a Doug remap to 520BHP. It sounded better than any other car but could not handle the power.
Pros
A 200mph+ missile
Great build quality
The exhaust sound was made by the Devil himself
Cons
Bland looks and any other C class with an AMG looked the same
No road presence
The slush box gear change in my 1979 2.0GL Cortina was quicker
Handling was worse than my 3.0S Capri
