What are you guys thinking - when will you be swapping your winter tyres back over to summer tyres?
Mornings are still nippy, but overall temperatures are up. I’m thinking I have a week or two left before I switch.

I will get mind done any day now. Incidentally, for you folks who run a second set of wheels with winters do you just swap the wheels over yourselves or do you take it to a garage to do it? I was going to just do it myself but I don't have anything to ensure the correct torque on the bolts.

Have previously had my local tyre centre do it but just bought a torque wrench and will do myself from now on now that I have a 2nd set of wheels

Swapping mine tomorrow morning with the trolley jack, refurbished alloys and new Michelins to go on, just putting some Autoglym on them as we speak!

Neither, I use a mobile tyre fitter who I trust (he's a petrolhead who runs a track car for fun). I store the unused set in my garage.
He checks all the wheels and tyres thoroughly at the same time. And marks them up front/rear/left/right for swapping around to even wear.
I generally try to coordinate this with replacing tyres, so I buy the replacements at leisure (online) for the set that are off the car and get him to fit them at the swap-on.
This year my summer tyres are fine, though I had one wheel buckled by a pothole, so that's been fixed over the winter.
So it's just a quick swap, which he'll fit in between other jobs.
I used to have two cars with two full sets of 5 wheels to swap, but my second car was replaced a while back and I didn't get a winter set for it.
It also only has a "skinny" spare. So as planned, once the initial factory tyres wore down, I fitted Michelin Cross-Climate+ all-season tyres.
But that's not appropriate footwear for an S8, especially for fun in the snow.

HPsauce, would you be willing to refer your mobile tyre fitter assuming location is in the South East?
Thanks.

Sadly he's given up that business.
