Post by Holmsfree » Thu Nov 22, 2018 11:19 pm

Anyone on this forum own this black RS6 parked at T5 last week? Nice spec.
Mine is the Daytona grey one.

Unless I'm mistaken it looks like a non Performance with Performance wheels.

I think you're right Mike. Ironic that mine is performance on non performance jelly 21s. Had a private "AUG" plate on it. I liked it.

Buses as in they come in twos but buses as in the size of them too

All I see is two RS6’s, bar the wheels, what’s the difference between a performance and not.

Cheers

Normally you don't see a Performance with the non performance wheels, but clearly there are examples such as Holmsfrees car above. The Performace car came with titanium trim as an option so they normally have titanium or black optics (and with or without carbon), never seen one with alu optics. Car above looks like it has alu optics so either a rare example or a non PE with PE wheels. There's no actual visual difference between the 2.

Famously common up here too, even 'exclusive blue' doesn't really mean exclusive (or at least it didn't, both of these are long since gone).

Surprised you didn't post a photo of all 3 exclusive blues together.

That one was just running into Mike in town... I have quite a few of the 3 together but we went to meet up deliberately for that

Certainly sexy names. Does audi work with pantones? Unfortunately, not familiar with car spraying and have no clue what terminology is in use. However, am sure some of these colours are very, very close to each other you could almost 'create' a new 'Audi exclude paint via a single cock-up.
