Exhaust welding company

Post by Shoppinit » Sat Aug 18, 2018 5:56 pm

My Volvo has developed a very satisfying meaty V8 sound. Unfortunately it's because the flexi before the cat has split. Obviously it's the most expensive part on the car and impossible to find.

Does anyone know anywhere that I can send the section to for the flexis to be replaced? It's quite a short section so easily posted.

Thanks!

I’ve never used these guys but I did once go and speak to them about doing a custom silencer for my kitcar. They seemed to know their stuff. http://www.torqueflow.co.uk/

Torqueflow have consistently been more expensive than RJ Performance by Birmingham City Football club & TipTop exhausts too.
I used RJ on my E60 M5 many years ago and no issues at all

In the end I bought a new Magnaflow catalyser from the US. 5 times cheaper than the Volvo price.

Fitted it yesterday and it no longer sounds like a Cessna.

I'll be curious to see if it passes the emissions tests.
