Dear All,

I have agreed in principle to purchase an RS4 avant from an Audi dealer. it is imola yellow, done 61k, one owner and full audi history. They are giving it a year warranty and then charge £800 for an additional two years. It is up for around £18k. what are your thoughts?

Sounds like a great deal and well worth £800 for warranty to 3 years. Car is filthy though.

it is dirty, i think they just got it in yesterday.

Seems like good money (cheap) for a 1 owner car with <70K miles.

Colour may put some people off... Not me tho. Looks great.

Brakes/Tyres/DRC/Aux Rads all in check?

That’s a bloody bargain! Imola is an awesome colour too. Likes rip for black optics and titanium pack though. Warranty will sort any common B7 issues really. Well done sir.

I am due to see it Saturday and have asked lots of questions regarding servicing etc. I am going to be selling my m135i 2016 and I am hoping this will have room for two car seats, I have read though that space is a bit short in supply in the rear? Thanks will

Which car seats do you have? I’ve had two isize Joie’s in without a problem. If you are over six foot tall, then maybe it’s tight, but I would imagine if you can make a 1 series work,?youll be fine with a B7.

Don’t expect it to feel that quick compared to the 135i really, you’ll have much more torque low down in the turbo’s car. The B7 will sing at over 8k RPM, which you’re probably not going to experience on a text drive. Also they come alive with a carbon clean and stage 2 map, etc.

800 for a 2 year Audi warranty? Sounds too good to be true.

The besafe rear facing is quite a long thing. So will need to check it out first

Re Warranty, it may be named components with an excess, worth checking and double checking as I find only to often you get fobbed off any answer just to keep you happy

I have paid a 500 holding deposit and I am due to see it next Saturday. I have asked a few questions via email but heard nothing back
