Bodywork recommendations - North Essex

Post by murph7355 » Fri Mar 02, 2018 10:24 am

Does anyone have recommendations for sorting body work in North Essex?

I have a few bits and pieces that need doing on the car and think now's the right time to sort :)

Witham/Braintree/Saffron Walden type area (possibly as far South as Chelmsford, West as Bishops Stortford etc).

Thanks

Yep.

Chris Andrade in Colchester.
He custom painted my car and it still looks awesome, years later.

Call me at our workshops on monday and I'll happily show you my car and introduce you to Chris

Thanks - that looks lovely. Avus on an RS4 is a very underrated colour...probably my favourite really (though Sprint Blue cars are obviously faster :)).

Can you give a ball park on the cost for a full respray?

Thanks,
It doesnt show in that pic, but I had extra layers of lacquer with blue and red pearls added to bring the natural pearls in Avus out a little more - looks very different in the flesh depending on the light !!

No idea what he charges just for a respray as he did quite a lot of other bits on mine at the time to make it mint.
He's a great guy and loves what he does, which shows in his work, he's always doing Focus RS in that difficult green, Bentleys, Ferraris, Astons etc as well as slightly bent Corsas and vans, theres not much he cant do !!
