help me, I have a "problem"

Post by 8utters » Mon Sep 25, 2017 9:47 pm

I bought my B7 RS4 three weeks ago, dream car for me, total bucket list job. She's a Misano Red beauty, Milltek, Saloon, only 41k miles etc..
:redrs4:

I had a sum total of 6 hours with her before a deer decided to headbutt the O/S headlight during a night drive. It trashed the headlight, the wing, headlight washer and left a dent in the bonnet. Thankfully I was doing the limit on a quiet country road, had just enough time to grab the brakes, was probably doing 50 or so when it hit. I went back the day after and no sign of the deer, maybe it survived??

Anyway, I've been without the RS4 since then, having the garage I bought her from fixing the damage, seriously embarrassing when I'd told the owner (was his car for a while, and much loved) that I would take great care of her.

My problem, I'm behaving like a rejected teenager - looking at the few pics and videos I have of her, watching RS4 reviews on YouTube and getting my fill of the v8 soundtrack. I'm looking at options for the headunit (currently RNSE-3G, but need a working bluetooth setup and Spotify support). As the date arrives for me to get her back, I'm spending money on gifts for her, 2l of Oil from Opie, some RS4 "Ghost Laser" puddle lights, 4x new shoes from Costco, a tough boot liner and the Audi in-car wastebin. I need to stop, or perhaps I'll scare her off with how desperate I must be coming across!

Jay-sus man! Get a grip. It's a car, not your first shag.
No matter where you go, there you are.
