:bash: sorry, I've had a look through the forum but wanted some recent reviews if possible, I've been a naughty boy and forgotten to put gap insurance on my b7. Who's the best to use? I've tried some online quotes but because it was a private sale i need to call them direct and we all know how fun that will be, any help is much appreciated before i waste a day talking to someone in India

Tried it already cheers, because it was a private sale and no invoice, all the companies are just saying they will pay out upto glass's guide, plus it's just over 10 years old so that's making it nearly impossible, the investigation continues, thanks again.

To be honest, you'd be better off just making sure its with a decent insurance company to start with, and all your mods and details are in writing on the paperwork! Make sure you'd get a decent pay out if the worst happened. Prevention rather than cure etc

It's insured on my traders policy and they pay out to what ever the book says, it's not a million miles off from what i paid and they don't mind about any mods, it just would of been nice to have the top up.
