Clicking sound from wheels??

My 2014 rs6 has a clicking noise coming from both front wheels. I can hear the clicking only when both windows are down and driving slowly. The sound does speed up as I speed up. If I press the brake it doesn't make a difference in the sound so can't be the disc or pads.
With windows up I can't hear a thing!
Had new oem pads fitted 6 months ago. But clicking been there for the past 3 months.
Anyone no what it could be?
Describing the sound Its like a stone stuck in the tyre. Or like an exhaust sound when it's cooling down and starts ticking away.
Thanks

Stone stuck in the tyre? Or a screw? Have you checked the tyres?

Yes mate checked tyres. All spot on. Sure it's coming from the brakes!

Take the wheels off and look to see if something is caught in the cavity through the center of the disks. Maybe a stone has got caught in there, unlikely though.
Also have a think about the frequency of the click. If it's brakes the freq will be quite high with the circumference of the disks, lower if it would be a tire.

It could be caused by worn out CV joints.

What car is it? Try posting in your specific model section. People don't really check this area.

Rs6 c7 mate
had the car jacked up today put it in drive wheel was spinning fast and no noise at all

even got in and pressed the brakes on and off no noise. Jacked car down rolled back and forth and it's ticking away. So only happens under load!
When stationery if I spin the steering wheel right and left I can here a click. That sounds like the click the wheels make when driving

You sure it's not rubbing on a wire or the wheel arch something like that?

Can you get the car on a ramp so you can see underneath while the car is sitting on it's wheels to see if there is anything touching?

Have done mate definitely not touching anything! Only happens when car is warm like atleast 10-15mins driving. If I take it for a long blast it's way worse. Got a feeling it's the wheel bearings

I'd say just get into the garage to be checked out. Not sure anyone can help anymore and any answers would just just be speculation.
