Evening all, I'm on the look out for someone to get me in the black optics gang, i had it booked in with a local wrapping company but i pulled out due to seeing some of the handy work they did the other day

I've been waiting for a call back from 2 other companies but I'm guessing they don't want my money. I'm in the Cambridge/suffolk area and willing to travel for a top notch job, let me know if you have any recommendations, thank you.

Herts Tints in St Albans did my C6 (also powder coated the alloys titanium) RS6 and I'll be getting them to do my C7 as well. Recommended.

Much appreciated, I'll see if they want to make some money as apparently the local companies around here have plenty already.

Just a courtesy call to say they don't want the job would be nice, instead i waste another day waiting for a call back

Has anyone done it in gloss black all over? Or is sticking to matte except for gloss on the grille the best option?

Before and after on my old C6. Gloss grille everything else matte.

So I've spoken to the company in St albans and they want my car for a couple of days and it'll be £550, i was hoping for a bit cheaper if I'm honest but i kow it'll cost for a top job. A valater friend of mine has suggested plasti dipping, has anyone experienced it instead of wrapping?

I would spend more time looking at their irk rather Than their prices. You can have you whole car tinted for £50 but I wouldn't. Its an RS4 not a Saxo, make sure they do a good job, not a cheap job.

It's booked in this Friday at a company recommended by a few friends, it's also being treated this week to a full detail and gtechnics, then i need to decide if i want the "joey" mod or not, either way it's a fairly exciting week.

Sounds exciting. Looking forward to the detail photos. Where are you having it done?
