RS7 Rear bumper Question

Post by Bison350 » Fri Dec 16, 2016 10:22 pm

Hi, Can someone let me know if the RS7 has the same rear bumper as the A7.

Essentially there is the

old shape A7 SE, old shape A7 S-Line, old shape S7, old shape RS7

new shape A7 SE, new shape A7 S-Line, new shape S7, new shape RS7

My RS is a 2016 plate if a part number reference of 4G8807067 AK GRU, when I google this they all appear to have the same prefix, old and new shape (4G8807067)? I think the "GRU" just means it comes primed? and the only bits that I see change is the "AK" which I've seen many references for??

Essentially I think the new and old shape RS7 rear bumper is the same but is the old A7 bumper also the same, I think the new A7 bumper is different #confused :)

Answers on a post card, just finding it difficult to track down an OEM / aftermarket RS7 rear bumper and wondering if an A7 one would fit with the RS difusser

Even more confusing is the US and Europe versions with the reflectors in the corners for the US version, is the AK denoting this variance?

Have a look at the online parts catalogue. You can compare the various part numbers to see if they are the same. There's a link to a couple in the FAQ on the C5 RS6 forum stickies.
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper
