Nurburgring - 1st October

Hi Guys,

Off to the ring his weekend with the B8. Can't wait!

Changed the pads yesterday. What a doddle of a job!

Leaving Saturday morning, the tracks open for a couple of hours Saturday afternoon and the all day Sunday and Monday.

Anyone got experience of a decent starting pressure for the tyres? I dropped the C6 RS6 pressures before and that was a mistake, ended up back at 40psi and probably could have increased them! Weird. Is this the same?

Will try and get some videos on YouTube next week.

Anyone else there?

Cheers

Alex

I would leave you tyre pressures alone, it wont be warm enough to worry about...

See other threads on Ring guidance but you will need spare pads as it will ruin them if you're pushing..

Yer I'm taking the originals and a jack, just in case.

Looks like we might be lucky with the weather; rain Friday, Saturday, but sun Sunday and Monday!

You won't regret it Pule - it is such an awesome trip away. I've been 4 times now and I thought just going once would be fine to tick it off the list so to speak but you constantly get drawn back there lol

It's like popping to Tesco. Hop on the tunnel. Turn left, pop round the Brussels bypass; into Germany, turn right. You're there!

Do it ;)

takes about 4hrs from Calais - best bet is to get a few of you and stay at the ferienpark nurburgring - you rent a nice house and works out pretty cheap, i have stayed at the big hotel but would always stay here now.

That's where I'm staying, great place, been there a few times!

It's a really easy journey. Once you've done it a couple of times you just don't even think about it. It's about 280 miles but not like driving in the uk!
