I'm looking at buying this RS4. I thought they stopped making these in 2007?? help please on what I should be asking.

I'm pretty sure this car has appeared on the forum before - the "retiring director" story is familiar, will try to dig up the thread.

In the meantime, have a read of the buyers guide in the RS4 B7 section of the forum.

Is it even still for sale? The listing has ended - have you committed to buy? Just so you know, it won't have 450bhp (as per the ad)..

Thanks for this Faisal. Ill look into this. Have done a HPI check and reads that it has outstanding finance. VIN seems to check out.

The post about a stolen RS4 gives me second thought but surely this would show up in the HPI?

Being a FL registration, I doubt very much the director of Audi tale - had that been the case, it would more likely to be one of the usual Audi UK registrations - OY, OV etc etc.
I used see many Vauxhall owned cars registered KV, KM etc etc, that were advertised described as 'Vauxhall Managing Directors cars - Vauxall actually registered their cars used by employees (as most manufacturers do to boost registration numbers) with Vauxhall Fleet Management on the V5, which is then ideal for the used car dealer to say, 'The car was used by a Vauxhall Manager Sir', when in actual fact, the case was far from that.......
