Carbon clean atlast update
Well I'm back from Mallorca and collected my car from Martin at unit 20 last Thursday ,had full carbon clean ,gutted precats ,stage 2 map,and air con fixed n a regas.Had new pcv and little valve thingi under manifold at same time ,oh and plugs and oil change .To be honest I'm a little disappointed ( not with unit 20 they are faultless )but with my car I was expecting it to be well coked up with my high miles (167,000) but she wasn't that bad .Martin said he's seen a lot worse all flaps and ancillarys was spot on even with the new inlet manifold fitted at 80,000 she's still done nearly 90,000 since .Found a rolling road print out in my old paperwork from 2013 and she was 377 Bhp with no work done .Car now feels well crispy but I've only had the drive back and a bit of plodding about to be honest what I have noticed was mpg on the way there before work @ 60 mph she did 29 mpg on way home @60 she did 36.4 mpg massive difference . Anyhow I've booked it in for rolling rd on the 24th a week on Saturday along with my mates Rs 3 stage 1 ,So with no cats ,no pre cats, modified exhaust (pipeworx) full induction kit and stage 2 map what will she be?All photos are on Facebook (Richie) got 2 new tyres coming tomoz and then its been a full on wallet emptying exercise .One thing I am disappointed with is the sound of exhaust I was expecting her to be a lot louder when in fact it's quieter (well without spanking her)don't ask me how coz I'm confused as well because its lost the deep rumble at low revs and now it's more raspy if you know what I mean . Will post results good or bad
If bad off to MRC
if below 400 and odd on phone to Martin
