2.0 TFSI B7

can someone help me identify the PCV crank case breather on the 2.0 TFSI engine apologies this isn't RS related

my friends car and when I open the oil cap the engine is in vacuum so ross tech suggests that the crank case breather is fooked

Do you see that ally metal plate with two black pipes? That's where the OEM pcv valve is.
By the way this kit I have is for sale if you friend wants to eliminate this problem once and for all ;)

I'd recommend the external oil catch tank type like pictured, had the same issue on a mk5 golf gti 2.0 tfsi and fitted a catch tank as above which cured the problem

Don't think she's that bothered as long as it fixes the issue.
