That's the problem. You can't find a decent decorator with OCD else I would pay them with great pleasure.

The correct term is CDO. I've just taken 5 weekdays after work prepping floorboards and then taken 4 whole days sanding and varnishing. Finished the final cost at midnight. I think I'm having a physical breakdown.

Yeah, they do but 'we' just covered nine tenths of them with furniture and a rug. Would've liked to have stained them dark but neither of us had the minerals to pick a colour.

Lol same here Bam. About half of the wall will be covered by the headboard, pictures, bedside tables and lamps. Why do we do these stupid things.

B1tches make us do this stuff.
Problem is, now the downstairs floorboards look horrid. They were done by the previous owner and there's gaps between all boards, nothings been flattened which suggests they only sanded each board at a time. Plus, they're coated in an awful orange tinted varnish.

I like the look of that paper though. Ballache to line up much?

Ball ache is an understatement. The problem was the patterns were off centre on the roll so I had to find a centre to a pattern then work out where to place it central on the wall so that it would look symmetrical on the entire wall. I reckon Laura Ashley would be proud of it though.

Yea you're right it's the Biatches that make us do these things.

She's In the nesting mode. ( pregnant) so I've got 4 months to decorate the entire house. 16 doors on 3 floors to gloss. It not like the house wasn't already nice since we last decorated 3 years ago. The bank account is not happy nor am I. New bed new sofa new carpets throughout complete Mama&papas Babyroom Oh the list goes on.

I need a lie down.

I Ain't had a drink since she found out she was preggas. Been forced to do the sympathy thing. She can't drink so I can't either. At first it was just do the baby room then it led to having to do the whole house.
Nesting thing has gone mad here.
Trouble is her OCD is germs hence complete new home so it's germ free. You try telling her that WE are the biggest germ of all. I haven't had a full chill out day off for 4 weeks. Proper exhausted.
Ain't even washed the RS for 3 weeks cause my arms are dropping off.

Lol 3rd jan is tcmrdon (RIV RS4 B8) sons (my grandson) birthday.

I did 5.5months without drink, then, on my birthday, I started up again. Drunk a beer or three every night since. She didn't have a leg to stand on asking me to do the sympathy thing "fcuk off" I said, "I've just done 5 months".
She's got me over xmas though, that close to dropping, I can't risk not being able to drink. Handing her an oyster card mid contraction won't go down well.
