Paint recommendations in the south.

I need to get the front of my car resprayed, whoever had it before got the bumper and the right wing painted and the laquer hasn't stuck. The rest of the paint is pretty good other than the odd stone chip and swirl marks, thinking of getting a full paint correction done but I expect that'll be ridiculously expensive?
Also is it worth getting a protective film?
Any input would be appreciated. Cheers.
