So my RS4 is going to be 3 in October & I'm contemplating between chucking it in or keeping her for a little longer. Not a lot else currently appeals as a swap right now. Having looked at a warranty extensions, Audi want £1370.11 for a years additional. Capped at 15k with a £100 excess & roadside. Seems very heavy to me.

Has anyone got any experience on these & offer an alternative?

Seems a lot, I paid less than that for my R8 a couple of years ago. Just remember there not warranties there just insurance policies, and like any insurance company they try and pay out as little as possible. On the plus side, being insurance related, you can get a pro rata refund for any unused months if you trade in the car before it expires.

Good point & thanks. I think I'll speak to HR Owen to see if they can better it. They look after the car anyway, so if I can tie it in & avoid any issues should I need to claim.

Does anyone know of any other decent providers?

That seems expensive. I guess they must be expecting some big claims
When I extended my B7, they offered various options - £1k excess, named parts etc, which all brought it down quite a bit
Like lofty says, there's loads of independent insurers, and in many cases, your dealer will deal with them directly
