Yeah, they've done a B8, saw it on their FB. Regardless, MRC is the place for any RS tuning.

Loving the quote, just had a stage 1+ on the C5, can't wait to drive her home with the new horse added

It was always where it was gong to be going as they did a great job on my RS4 (B7) was just interested to get some feedback on how the cars felt after and what sort of gains they made.

Just like the B7. With a stage 2, carbon clean, filters and gearbox remap I got 460ps. Although it was a good gain from the 422ps it started at.

Does carbon cause as much of a power loss in the B8 as it does in the B7?

At the legendary AMD rolling road day a while back i believe graeme bought his new b8 and that made quoted figures.. So we are all hoping its "better" but afaik its still the same engine pretty much so i expect the same issues will be there

That is.. If you believe the coking really affects real world performance

Yeah i didnt relise it coked up like the b7.i was thinking of the b8 as my next car but if the tunning is restricted like the b7 maybe i should look at the 6 instead...does the 6 suffer from carbon issues aswell?

It happens a lot slower. Mine had around 40,000 on the clock when it went in and hadn't been cleaned and was still a lot better than my RS4 B7 was in half the mileage. But your better off with an S5/S4 with some MRC Tuning if you want performance on a non RS6 budget. Me I went for the RS5 because I love it's shape, I dont see many of them and wanted another V8 grumble car but the sacrifice was tuneability.
