How many left?

Apologies if everyone is already aware of this but I found this to be a useful insight into UK car numbers by model.

You can choose a model, current or past master and see how many remain in use / registered each year. It goes on Taxation, so year 1 could be 500 cars, year 2 1000 cars, therefore meaning the car has sold 500 cars a year (year 1 cars are being re taxed in year 2). Hope that makes sense and it's interesting.

Not a lot of Audi Quattro's left:

There are lots of problems with that data though, usually human error... garbage in, garbage out.

Take a look at the fuel skews for the Quattro... diesels, other etc. Then the engine sizes are all over the place. It's hard to tell if the population is actually Quattros or results from some fat fingering. Just sayin'.

I remember looking a long time ago for the figures on the C5 RS6 Plus. It listed only single-figures which was clearly not correct

General consensus is to take the results with a pinch of salt so to speak. Which is annoying because its great in theory
