I would like to know when the sport button is on and the car is stationary are the flaps ment to be open or closed?

Sport button opens them up mate. I unplugged the vac pipes on mine and blocked them so in effect keeps the exhaust in sport mode all the time.

As long as it is on normal idle and not fast idle.
