Does anyone have any experience of this;
http://www.beltronicsstore.co.uk/beltro ... R_Plus.php
or this;
http://stingeruk.com/products/dsi/
Had enough of crappy snoopers/road angels etc, want something that gives real protection.

I've never quite got these...if a radar is being pointed at me I.e. Is therefore 'detectable', it's probably already taking a reading...so it's too late to slow down surely!
Aren't these just advanced ways to know you've BEEN caught rather than avoid being caught!!

No, my understanding is the reason they are so expensive is that they are so sensitive that they can detect the radar long before you are in range for the user to get a reading. Im pretty sure this type of set up is what a lot of they guys on the Gumboil Rally use....

Hate to tell you this, the UK police haven't used radar for a long time, it's later and it knows the signal is being tampered with. It will err and because of that they may well pull you and the offence of blocking laser is worse than speeding. The opposite is you don't block it, but then like has been said you're just being told you've been tagged! Possibly allowing a u turn?
Most of the laser blockers are sold as automated garage door openers for legal reasons but there was a case of a guy of went to caught stating it was a garage door opener and lost in 30 seconds when the police showed a picture of his house with no garage!

Oh and the laser can get you from over 1km, that's a long way, but would give you time to u turn.

Shinobi675 thanks for the info, I did wonder how effective these are! Lucky I didn't go and buy one!

I was looking for something about 8 years ago and did spoke to a few company's. They pretty much all said what I mentioned earlier.
I also got caught from 1,197m a few years ago too! Literally I saw him as the road straightened up, I should have done a u turn

Will have to stick with my snooper then, and try to reign in my swift driving

What you want is to jet a jammer fitted!
For about £300! Just jams the signal of the mobile cameras!
Just dont get caught with one lol

Yes I've looked into this, but the consequences of getting caught seem to be too drastic!

My car had a jammer already fitted and I had it on by mistake in Lewisham and a copper was using a gun but I'm aware of their sly tricks so make sure I keep to the legal limits there, but this other driver clearly had not and passed me but I could see the copper was trying to get him but could not. As the driver passed the copper he was wagging his finger at him but did not pull him in, at was at this point I realised my jammer was on and saved the other driver need to say I turned it off sharpish.
