Alright all,

My friend is looking into buying an RS4 B7 Avant and has found one that is not to far from where we live.

Don't know if it was maybe someone on here's before and just looking for any info on it if it was

That was on my list of ones to view before I bought mine last week, it looks very reasonably priced. Its looks original thats for sure, just make sure they check the amount of owners and if the DRC & aux rads have been replaced recently, otherwise they could go fairly soon with that mileage.

The fact they've had it since July going from the pics means you can be bullish on price. I'd suggest viewing and bidding low in person and leaving your number with them if you live locally. Worth VRN / PHI checking the car first mind - and check those rusty brakes!

My friend has been down to see it already, says it seems really good.

He is trying to get a hold of info from Audi with regards to any parts being replaced, i.e suspension etc.

Yeah brakes do look rusty in the photos.

It was me looking at the car, brakes were just surface rust, nothing a couple of stops wouldn't have cleaned up

The 3rd last MOT mentioned a light misting of oil on the front dampers, although the following 2 MOTs had no mention of dampers, but there was no paperwork to say they had been changed. I was going to get a service print out from audi but it was bought by somebody else last night.

Was there a specific date of production where the better DRC units were fitted as standard?

I maybe wrong but I thought the better units were not produced until well after the last RS4 left the factory i.e. none of them came with them fitted from the factory.

Coincidence if the trader has had it since July? Unlucky if so
