Redbull has a F1 budget of over 420 Million Euros. The other "big boys" ie Ferrari, Merc are all north of 300 Million. Do any of us want Audi splurging that R&D dollar on technology that migrates into Aerospace not the cars we drive. At least DTM and WEC R&D dollars benefits the cars we drive

Doing just an engine reminds me of Porsche trying to get into F1 years ago and that was a disaster

I think it would be interesting to see how they got on and what they came to the table with straight from the go.

VWG aren't short of a few bob, sure they'll be ok

I think this all figures.

VWG don't need both Marques in WEC and arguably the tech already exists. The 919 isn't a million miles from the F1 powerplant.

It's just a matter of time.
