CCTV - Reccomendations Needed..

So following on from the recent increase in RS thefts i'm looking to upgrade my CCTV. Obviously quality is of the utmost importance, there's no point having it if the camera can't make out faces etc.. so with that in mind does anyone have any recommendations?

Essentials for me i think are sharp clear low light / night vision, recordable onto HDD and accessible to view online / via mobile phone at any time.

If i missing anything please feel free to add, i want to get this setup right...

Would need to know all your requirements but I am happy to help everyone out. What I will say is the cheap home systems that some companies are supplying and installing for £300-£500 are shocking

I've got an old 4 camera 600tvl (circa) quality, but only 1 channel is D1.

Ideally I'd like 6 cameras, fully D1 or higher on all channels, ideally all IP cameras, 1tb or so of storage. But everywhere I look it's crazy money for this kind of spec :(

If there's anything like a group buy I'd be very interested!
