There's a few of us on here.....
I'm quite biased as to which garage to use as I own Revolution...

Main dealer wise, take your pick up north depending on where you live as they're much of a muchness sadly...

Hello again mate. I can't even remember when I got it, will have to check. Had the car for over a year now though. To your original post, I don't have a lot of experience with audi (only 1 visit in my life) but found tyneside audi very good. I had a problem with my car not very long ago that no-one could seem to fix or even diagnose. It went on for about a month or 2 until I booked into tyneside and got the car back next day and it has never missed a beat since.

The problem started with the engine management light and a epc light going on and off random. Then the management light stayed on and developed a misfire. Codes were misfire on cyl 2 and also a random intermittent misfire. Coil was changed, swapped around, plugs were out and swapped etc with no joy. Audi replaced the plugs and the coil, wiped codes and bingo. The new audi coil was actually cheaper than the aftermarket one! The front and back disks and pads they recommended weren't though.

To add though, the car was off the road for a few weeks and in the whole time it didn't let up on the misfire when I ran it. Before i garaged it with audi, I drove it for about 10 mile and brayed the arse off it. The mis was still present when I shut it off but after this (twice before it was garaged) the mis was gone but management light was still there. I would hate to think it just needed a blow out.

Oh and was just over £200 for the plugs and coil inc labour and vat. Very reasonable I thought!

yeah these need a good blow out more than anything,i also noticed if you dont do some harsh braking the brakes start to screech, there not meant to be driven nicely more like it been nicked haha

Every time I take it out now I make sure at least once it hits 7000rpm. I only use it on weekends now anyway and avoid stop start journeys.
