glove box ipod dock

does anyone know if Audi have upgraded the glove box ipod dock in the RS4 to take the new generation ipod connection 8pin male
i got a few adaptors to allow different sized ipods to fit the dock securely buy my new ipod nano has the new pin and its sits at one side on the base meaning i cant plug it in with the little pin convertor
