Didn't see much but just caught the tail end of a TV prog this morning where a guy had a no fault incident in a sportscar and the insurance co offered an RS4 as a suitable loan car whilst repairs were completed.
Couple days later he called up to say "can I have another loan car as I've had an incident in the loan car I had".

What was described as a "low speed off into a hedge" but caused huge amounts of damage... further investigation revealed some interesting bits...
- the B road of the alleged crash happened to be less than a couple miles from Castle Combe (I think you can see where this is going)
- the insurance co had telemetry on the car placing it not where it was supposed to have been doing considerably more speed than reported
- impact wasn't consistent with story
- There was you tube footage posted of the incident http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XT6XGQrZc90
- Trackday company confirmed the incident

A quick searchfound this blast from the past - same car!

And yes he had to repay the car costs and I would imagine struggle to get insurance on anything over a moped.

Claimed and Shamed - that was it.
