MMI Hidden Menu

Hi all,
Anyone know how to access the hidden green menu in the 2009 MMI system?

I read you need to hold Car & Setup buttons down together for a while but that doesn't work.

You need to enable hidden menu with VAG-COM cable first

All the You Tube clips show you can do it without Vag Com.
