In a moment of fiscal stupidity I ordered a new AMV8 (won't be delivered until 2005), anyone done the same? I just couldn't resist after seeing the press pictures!

Me too. From Stratton Motor Company in Norfolk - the best AM dealer in this country by a mile, and, I'm reliably told, more likely to get you one sooner than the other dealers.

I think they were talking in the region of £60k.

Not bad for an AM, but a feck of a lot for a Mondeo [img]images/graemlins/spineyes.gif[/img] .

I have been invited to drive the pre production V8 on 23rd April in sunny Essex [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/biggrin3.gif[/img]
Also being allowed to get my grubby mits on a Vanquish and DB7 [img]images/graemlins/clap.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/clap.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/clap.gif[/img]

Will keep you all informed and will supply piccies as proof [img]images/graemlins/<beep>_you.gif[/img]

Off to sunnier climes

According to this week's Autocar the DB8 is "tipped to cost £78k". Plus mucho optional extras I assume.

Did anyone see the DB8 on Top Gear? What a beautiful car and if it's true that there will be 450bhp turbo version it will be able to be "upgraded"!! Role on 2005.
