Spring had disconnected from a Clio in front of the BMW, luckliy no one was hurt...could have been a lot lot worst.

Unless a good convexed lexan screen, would have at least deflected it.

The clio has a torsion bar, springs sit on it in cups...however for some reason one came lose...not sure why, the car in question had been raced prepared for UK circuits and not the Ring, unless it was a worn component, or was not sitting right after the car had been jacked up, that is a possibility.

Race prepared Clio... At the the Ring... Hmmmmm I'm pretty sure somebody on here has a race prepared Clio and likes going to the Ring.... Can't think of his name but Cher keeps springing (pardon the pun) to mind.

Ah no its not me, the Clio has been off the road since October...funnily enough I have been in the garage tonight putting ARP rod bolts in...anyway.

The guy who runs destination-Nurburgring owns the Clio in question, he did make a public apology.

I lost a ARB bolt on the Ring in the RS4 due to the poxy nuts not been done up tight the day after I had them fitted..thats another story.
