Tipping your hat to RS owners

Post by Boggle73 » Thu May 16, 2013 7:13 pm

Is there a RS246 way of tipping your hat to fellow RS owners.

I know it may sound a bit geeky, but I see loads while travelling 1500 miles a week.
Often coming the opposite way down motorway, should we give a double flash or something.

Just a question, not asking to start something up.

If you're in TT, a wolf whistle or maybe a limp wrist wave and followed by a "ya hoooo, big boy."
No matter where you go, there you are.

I think the middle finger salute is best, makes everyone else on the road think it's at them.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

Like a good TT driver would take it the " wrong way ".

If you could only see what whetstone Audi have me as a courtesy car this week :bigblink:
And no, I'm not putting a picture up. It went straight in the garage and I locked the door.

Thataboy, no rule 1, no exist.
Whetstone is my local Audi, I asked them to track me down a B8 S4... no call back, that was at least 6 weeks ago. Their parts department have always been very good though.

TBH Whetstone have been great with me.
Found an issue with car when being detailed, it had been painted on back. Some bad overspray in places and it needed sorting. They didn't have to sort it but they have :beerchug:

However, their courtesy car range leaves little to be desired

Half way up the M1 I was wishing I had caught the train.

Are you based in Sheffield? That seems a long way to have something sorted... do you even get enough sun up there to warrant ever owning a cabriolet?

When its sorted free of charge then its worth the drive. True Yorkshire man !
Getting a free service too, I could hardly contain myself.

The RS4 cab had to go, never get much sun in Sheffield. The feckin thing kept filling up with water, and the animals on the plains were drinking from it. Seriously, it was a great car to go round Europe in. Won't be wanting another on though.

TTRS is good fun. Cat delete and stage 1 map next month.

Yeah, Stage 1 TTRS is the fastest buttplug in the world. Wow, you Yorkshire lot will travel a long way for a free meal. Nought wrong with that though.

lol'd on the B7 cab, I don't think they'll be making another one so you've probably experienced a very rare car.
