Why all the Tar ??????

I thought it was normally in the heat of the summer you got this but my wife's S3 is covered in the stuff doesn't help that it's white . I have used the Auto Glym tar remover it takes ages is there anything better and why all the tar at this time of year???????

Valet pro tar and glue remover is excellent. Then as above, clay it.

Freshly laid road round here you must be joking its pothole city. As for clay bar now that really is a boring job i managed the bonnet last year and nearly fell asleep :sleeping_2:

Apparently autosmart tardis is one of the best if there is a lot to be removed

Tardis is probably the best stuff to use, but whatever you use don’t forget it is also going to strip any protection on the paintwork as well, so you need to re wax it etc again afterwards.

Just use a small amount of neat petrol.
Job done.

+1 this stuff is what you need

Someone mentioned claying above. I'd only recommend this after you've the guts of the crap off otherwise you risk scouring the paint with trapped tar in the clay.
