The McLaren P1 (McLarens 50th birthday present to the world) has been spotted testing and the "camo" paint job we all expect on test mules turns out to be the outlines of all the famous circuits from across the world, each of which is significant in the history of the brand.... very cool bit of branding / marketing

Problem is... I just don't like the look of it.
Great car no doubt but it just doesn't do it for me.
I still look at the f1 and love it... Also a big soft spot for the xj220.

I'm not keen on it at the moment but much like my initial reaction to the Ferrari 458 once I see a few in proper racing livery i'm sure it will grow on me.
Can't fault McLaren for picking up on a great marketing oppertunity by making their camo 'special'.

yeah but it's the problem with mclaren - they are desperately trying to get "soul" into their machines and sometimes you have to say they can be a bit too clever for their own good.
Whilst different I find it a little... tacky. "OOohh! look at us" kind of thing.

When you see one in black you may change your mind about it. The corporate orange colour does nothing for it but the black one I have seen pictures of looks a beast. I have never seen a road car accelerate out of corners so quickly (except maybe a Veyron Supersports) and flat partly thanks to KERS.
