Lamborghini hire

I want to hire a Lamborghini for a few days for my birthday later this year.
I'm working my way through the Google results but in the meantime I thought I'd ask if anyone had personal experience (good or bad) of any particular companies, ones to avoid, ones you'd recommend, etc.
The favourite at the moment is a Gallardo LP560-4 for about £600 + VAT for a 24-hour rental.
Cheers.

Best advice I can give:
1) Check the T&C's
2) Check the T&C's
To paraphrase Kryten "I realise that that is technically one reason but I thought it was such a big reason it was worth saying twice".
Renting a supercar is similar to buying one - if you can't afford to buy two then you can't afford to buy one.
Some companies have extortionate T&C's making you liable for pretty much everything.
Some even have ECU logging and will charge premium for "excessive wear".
Common ones are that if you crash the car you are liable for the daily rate until it's repaired.
Personally, I would put the money towards something like a John Palmer day where you get to drive faster machinery, on track with instructors pretty much pushing you to go as fast as possible (in a nice non pushy way). Similar costs and no frightening prospect of "what if..."

Good advice. Thanks.
The T&C's are fairly standard and pretty much what I was expecting - huge excess and deposit and ludicrous charges if you go over the permitted mileage.
I considered the sort of day that you're talking about but I think I just want to drive around in a Lamborghini for a day or two. I don't really want a track day or to be accompanied on the drive.
Cheers though.

Thats cool - horses for courses

As long as you're going in with eyes wide open then thats the main thing.

Think that it has all been said
Mileage allowances are generally rubbish ( 100 miles?)
Also excess are bonkers.
I hired a 458 in Italy just after it was launched at the excesses were sky high, even just for the wheels which had their own excess.

I hired a lp560 out a few yrs ago from dreamcar hire, I got a really good deal of 400 miles included and 2 days midweek for £910, the car only had 700 miles on the clock. Def would recommend them as a company to deal with

No personal experience but they do seem the best of the bunch, I've browsed their website before, looks like a very professional set up, based in Abingdon iirc
I don't think I've ever want to go with a company who have generic 'library' pics of 'their' cars on their website..... doesn't exactly instill much trust!

Cheers for all the replies.
I had a change of heart and decided to put the money into buying my next car instead, which I've now done.
