Not a fan of those seats to be honest. They look like the seats in my Rocco and I'm not a huge fan of them especially after the RS buckets.

Golf R has got me thinking though as has the S3.

I think the seat look ok in black, really unsure about the contrast grey.

How are you getting on with the scirocco?

Well its ok to go to work and back and it is considerably cheaper than the RS 5 but I really miss AWD and power and gadgets etc. As expected really.

As mentioned the Golf R and S3 have me thinking. May order one in a few months time.

Was in a new S3 last night, yes its quick, but it lacks a bit of theater...would I have one? yep...but i'll stick with the RS4 that arrives tomorrow for now!

Well of course you'd have an RS 4 over an S3, bit of a silly statement.

So would I after owning both S and RS cars in the past. It's a compromise for the mrs' learning stage.

Enjoy the RS 4. I need another RS in my life.

Buy her an Audi A2, I know of a good 1.4 Petrol one going for £1800. Then you buy a B7 RS 4 whilst saving for a V10....jackpot!

Running an RS 4 won't help my saving plan though!

I'm waiting to hear back from Martyn at Bath to see what he can do. S3 will be so cheap to run, as will a Golf R.

??? How will a new S3 be cheap? New = depreciation = the biggest running cost that exists in car ownership!

A B7 RS4 depreciates at snails pace.

You need to go back to Maths class.

It swings both ways, you end up spec'ing it how you want it and paying full retail for those options that in total ad £1.50p come trade in.

Buying new is nice.

But let's not fool anyone, its no where near cheap, for ANY car.

It may be that I get a second hand one for around 30k. Plus Martyn always seems to get me out of a car without too much loss to myself.

Understand in regards to depreciation though.
