Hah - it's a shame 'ronin' doesn't post on there any more (threw toys out of his pram and deleted all his posts).
You would absolutely love baiting him. I've never seen Internet ranting quite like it.
It's almost (almost) worth finding a forum he does post on just for the sport ;)

As for the others... I like it here as generally its quite a nice atmosphere. But seloc can be (at times) quite exasperating.

You should try it - you might like it ;)
Ha ha ronin vs bam bam , interesting thought!

Last I heard he was 'killed' by a Porsche on the interstate who purposely rammed him in to the central reservation.

Do you know... There's an Internet bust up I'd pay money to see. :)

And his yacht burnt to the...er... Water.

But now making (ie paying somebody else) a custom 211 look alike.

It's on my list, went to Kent Lotus today too see if I can get in and out, only just.

Never driven one but an Exige does appeal.

You don't see many evoras on track (think I've only seen one!)

I see the Evora as good weekend car that you can track occasionally whereas the exige is a track car which you can use at the weekends

The Elise fits somewhere in the middle.

If you are looking don't forget to try the independents referred to above

You could also consider a snap on/off steering wheel which may help the entry process.

And it looks good in the pub when you slap the wheel on the pub counter ;)

Does make a difference though - also if you need a bit more legroom its bonkers but you can reverse the seat runner supports and move the seat back about another 2"

Don't worry about getting in - there is a knack and once found it takes no time at all. Just don't pull on the windscreen surround to get out (the glass is thin).

The evora is a great GT car. It's really amazing what can be done with good suspension engineering - not a dynamic electronic control in sight. As a track toy... A little compromised. Fun and you can go surprisingly quick although I'd have to go for the evora s.

s.
A couple of my guys have them on their 997 RSs.

Did make me chuckle back in spa in march when one of the guys wanted to defrost his car so he went to his car, parked on the street outside the hotel, started it and came back in clutching his steering wheel and sat down for breakfast for 20 mins!

Can't really get better security than that!

Until thieves start roaming the hills of N-Burger with a backpack full of steering wheels.

They have key locator bolts so hard to match one wheel to another :)

The wheel boss has a random number of metal pins and holes that match up with the other part of the boss fitted to the car.

Now... In theory yes you could carry a blank wheel, bucket of locator pins and a cordless drill... But it'd be far easier to carry a bat and smack the owner in the pub. ;)
