You are of course entitled to your opinion, however I wouldn't imagine there are too many circumstances where a stock B5 RS4 would outperform a stock B7 if any.

Modded B5s blow every B7 Ive ever seen, sad but true. Stock b5 same performance but not set up as well as b7, Love the civilized nature of b7 had the pleasure of one all over Spa last year, driven quite a few over the last 2 years, beautiful but not a big step forward, maybe that is what t5 is saying.
Same old engine in the nose 4 wheel drive just not much enhancing potential.

Totally understand b5 vs b7, Been done many times. Just wish Audi would drop the engine back a foot and design prop shafts that got to the front wheels maybe the b9 or 10.

ive not had mine for 2 years been at tuning place in leeds just having race spec engine built etc but in mean time had a new 1 you are right you carnt tune em as much as old 1 didnt keep it long spent more time a main dealer then i had it ,

ye sounded ace once you pushed the button but when i had that me pal add tuned up 335d n that was quiker then me new rs4 took it back thought it had problem so sold that n got me self 535d m-sport .tuned up got it 358bhp that went really well
