Anyway, getting back on topic...you could pick up a low mileage 54 plate MG ZR 160 for that sort of money.

ok if we're talking MG's then i suggest the ZS, I test drove one when they were 1st released and found it quite enjoyble, but at the end of the day your talking rover 25(zr) or rover 45(zs) so the MG TF would always win.
