It's the headlights, they look meanYeah, whilst Audi has the more prestige image and perhaps better interior, I think objectively the Golf looks better, more aggressive looking....

Yeeep. Was that £287PCM a biz deal? The cheapest I've found was about £323ish (biz - no options). This is without hauling my arse into a stealership.

BMW 1 series seem to be very popular with estate agents, photo copier salesmen and other generally avoided professional people.
